Explore Music

Making Music - Students will explore, create, and observe music and will develop their technical and expressive skills.

Music Literacy - Students will acquire a working knowledge of music language and to communicate that knowledge to others.

Making Connections - Students will explore the historical, social, and cultural contexts of music.  Students will learn to see the relations between music and other academic studies in school.

Community and Cultural Resources - Students will, with their parents and/or legal guardians go to live performances of music. The cost will be told to parents/guardians in advance so that they can prepare to attend with their student.

Careers and Lifelong Learning - Students who show good music ability can audition to study music at Talent Under One Roof so as to increase their music ability.
